This tour allows customers to visit major sightseeing spots of Hirosaki efficiently in a short time with an English-speaking guide.
Hirosaki City in northeastern Japan's Aomori Prefecture is the central city of the Tsugaru region, which is in the western part of the prefecture. It is about an hour's drive from Aomori City, and about 3 hours via Shinkansen and conventional line train from Sendai.
At Tsugaruhan Neputa Village, behold impressive floats of Aomori's summer festival, Neputa, all year round.
Hirosaki Castle showcases beautiful scenery throughout the seasons. This is a sightseeing highlight in Hirosaki, where visitors can efficiently learn about the history and culture of Tsugaru with an English-speaking guide.
The Former Hirosaki City Library and Former To-o Gijuku Missionary Residence are a valuable cultural heritage that illustrate the influence of Western culture on Japan's modernization. Learn about the history of international exchange during the Meiji period (1868- 1912) while listening to detailed explanations from an English-speaking guide about the lifestyle and education system at the time.

Visitors here can experience the Hirosaki Neputa Festival, an Intangible Folk Cultural Asset of Japan, all year round (60 minutes).

Walk from Tsugaruhan Neputa Village to Hirosaki Castle (10 minutes).

Located in Hirosaki Park, Hirosaki Castle features Japan's northernmost extant main keep, and is a designated important cultural property (90 minutes).

Opened in 1870, To-o Gijuku was the first private school in the prefecture based on Keikokan, a clan school of the Hirosaki domain (30 minutes).
〇 Former To-o Gijuku Missionary Residence
This facility was built to commemorate victory in the Russo-Japanese War in 1906, and was used as a city library until 1931.
While the building is based on the Renaissance style, it incorporates Japanese styles throughout.

Take a taxi from the Former To-o Gijuku Missionary Residence to Hirosaki Station.

Gijuku Missionary Residence), the main mode of transfer is on foot. And as there are areas with poor or unequal footing at
Hirosaki Castle, please participate wearing comfortable shoes and clothing. Bringing rain gear in case of inclement weather is recommended.
- As large luggage such as suitcases cannot be brought during the tour, please leave them in a locker or at your hotel before participating.
