NTA Bon Point!
The kimono is a symbol of Japan’s timeless culture. Join a guided tour of a Kyoto Yuzen workshop, where a master artisan will introduce you to the delicate process of hand-painting and color blending that gives this traditional textile its vibrant beauty.
After the tour, enjoy a hands-on experience of Yuzen dyeing using brushes and paints to create your own unique piece.
You can observe skilled craftsmen at work during the tour. For the experience, pre-patterned white fabric will be prepared. Choose your favorite design from around 10 options and paint it using a brush. The finished piece will be postcard-sized.
