This is a unique winter experience in Hokkaido on a frozen lake!
The good points of this tour is snow shoe experience, fat bike experience, and watching ice bubble (this is created in the frozen ice in which bubbles are locked).
In addition, you can learn nature and history of Nukabira and Kamishihoro area.
One of the heritages of the old railways is Taushubetsu Bridge.
This is one of the concrete-made arch bridges, a part of the old govenment-owned railways "Kamishihoro Line".
Its arch-shape is characteristic and repeats going up and down from the lake surface.

As for clothing, warm knitwear, ski wear, sunglasses, gloves, and goggles are appropriate. A pocket warmer and camera are also recommended.
Please be aware of the phenomenon of thinning and holes in the frozen lake surface caused by gases emanating from the bottom of the lake. If snow piles up on top of them, they may fall into the water without noticing the hole.
Rates are for one person when there are two people. Prices vary depending on the number of participants.
