In the daytime, you can paddle SUP through the clear blue Shakotan blue sea bathed in sunlight. At night, with special permission, you can watch the romantic sunset over Cape Kamui and learn about the history of the lighthouse with a special AT guide.
You can enjoy both the sea and the cape in one luxurious experience!
A place "protected by lighthouses" where the sunset is most beautiful, the Shakotan Peninsula is a town with beautiful scenery, rich in nature and blessed with seafood, filled with azure sea and strange rocks.
The cape jutting out into the sea in the northwestern part of the island is called "Kamui Misaki" (meaning "Cape Kamui" in Japanese), which is a very sacred place.
The lenz of the lighthouse is an essential part of the history of Cape Kamui.
Since the first light was turned on in 1888, there is only one lens in existence in the world that has kept the light on at Cape Kamui Lighthouse for over 130 years.

Remarks
【Cancellation of the event due to weather】
Compliance with the standards for use according to weather conditions set by the town is mandatory for the use of the nature park and lighthouse. In the event of strong winds of 15 mph or more or heavy rain, the control gate will be closed for safety management purposes. Even if the weather is clear, the tour may not be possible due to wind speed.
In case of strong winds or inclement weather, the tour may be cancelled or the course may be changed at the discretion of the guide.
SUP is a wet experience, so please manage your own equipment, especially cell phones and cameras, in a waterproof bag. After getting out of the water, you will be cold, so please bring warm clothes.
【Risks in outdoor activities】
During the tour, our staff will take utmost care to ensure the safety of all participants while assessing the weather and site conditions, and will use their best judgment depending on the situation. We ask all participants to be aware of the hazardous nature of the area and to follow the instructions and precautions of our staff during outdoor activities.
