We will take you on a journey with the Ainu people to explore the IWOR Forest and discover the Authentic Ainu culture, the transformation and resilience of a culture that has gone from past to present and continues into the future.
After learning about Ainu life at the museum and enjoying traditional Ainu cuisine, participants will walk through Abetsu forest with Ainu storytellers and listen to their stories about Ainu life from the past, present, and future and their relationship with the forest.
This activity will give you immersive cultural experiences, insider knowledge of indigenous people in Hokkaido, and memorable encounters with local traditions.
