Try Calligraphy at a 300-year-old temple in Miyajima! 

During the lesson, you will practice to write lines and try Chinese characters (kanji) choose from our sample.
After that, learn how to write your name in Hiragana or Katakana.

Let’write on the rice scoop, Miyajima's lucky item when you are ready.
Sign with your name in Japanese and stamp it to conplete the work.

Take the rice scoop with you as a soubenir of your travel.

After experiencing tea calligraphy, guests can also take pictures in our garden.
We will take pictures while you take the lesson and we can share with the guests.
We are sure you will be delighted in this peaceful and serene atmosphere!

*No kimono wearing experience included in the tour fee. If you would like to experience calligraphy in Kimono, please book additional Kimono wearing experience from option.
 (For clients added Kimono wearing experience, the time duration will be around 1 hour)
