The Yoro Railway is a local railway linking Gifu and Mie prefectures and has a history of more than 100 years.
The train will take you on an hour and ten minute scenic ride through the rural landscape of Gifu and will end at Ogaki city, known for its abundant fresh water springs and high-quality Japanese sake. You will then stroll the pretty streets of Ogaki together with your guide and will visit a sake brewery and the biggest factory for producing wooden masu cups traditionally used to drink sake.

Riding the special sightseeing Sake Masu Train is a wonderful opportunities for all lovers of local railways and rural Japanese scenery. Sake fans will be delighted to taste several different local brands and even fruit liquor! The use of Ogaki's most famous product - the wooden masu cup - will add new layers of flavor and aroma to the sake.
Please enjoy drinking sake using the wooden Masu, a speciality of Ogaki City, Gifu Prefecture, which you will receive when you participate this tour.
