①New Sensation XR Bus WOW RIDE® Ikossa!
Fukui Prefecture offers an innovative travel experience using augmented reality (AR) and virtual reality (VR) technologies. These bring the beauty of Fukui’s four seasons, traditional culture, history, and dinosaurs to life right on the bus windows, creating an immersive virtual environment for passengers. No need to wear VR headsets or other devices; passengers can simply sit back and enjoy this unique sightseeing experience while riding the bus.
≪Instructions & Notes≫
1.Ticket exchange hours: 7:50 AM – 5:25 PM (available until departure time).

3.Please present the QR code to the XR bus crew before boarding.
4.Large luggage is not allowed inside the bus.
5.Please store any items that do not fit on your lap or under your feet in the bus’s trunk before boarding.
6.Departure and travel times may change depending on traffic conditions.
7.You will need to climb stairs to reach your seat. The seating area is an open space without windows. Due to special effects, some areas may become dark, feature flashing lights, or loud noises.
8.Please refrain from eating or drinking (including alcohol) inside the bus, except for hydration. Open drinks without a lid are also prohibited.
9.No alighting is allowed along the route.
②Dinosaur Museum
The Fukui Dinosaur Museum is not only a world-class dinosaur museum but also the largest in Japan. Fossils excavated from Fukui make up 80% of all dinosaur fossils found in the country. The museum houses over 1,000 fossil specimens, 40 life-sized dinosaur skeleton models, and a 7.2-meter-tall robotic Tyrannosaurus. We highly recommend experiencing the impressive size of these dinosaurs in person — it’s like stepping back into the age of the dinosaurs.

2.The museum may be temporarily closed due to exhibit replacement or facility regular inspection.
3.You can enter the museum more than once if within the date written on the admission ticket.
②Echizen Railway
Echizen Railway, located in Fukui Prefecture, consists of two lines: the Katsuyama Eiheiji Line and the Mikuni Awara Line. The One-Day Pass offers unlimited rides for your convenience. Enjoy a convenient and relaxing journey through scenic mountain and ocean views, with easy access to Awara Onsen, Eiheiji Temple, the Dinosaur Museum, and other attractions.
